Camping is available at two locations:
The horse park has camping for events as well as during non event dates. Camping during events at the horse park must be arranged with the event coordinator and is subject to that events fees. Camping during non events does not require reservations and is subject to daily rates. Members get free camping Monday through Wednesday, please see our Camping at CCHP page for more information on camping at the horse park.
McAninch Trail Head
The McAninch Trail Head is a separate private property owned by the Fort Armstrong Horsemen's Association. 2017 introduced 6 electric hookup sites and a water tank for horse water. This a great alternative to the park during weekend events for the diehard camper and/or trail rider. You can reach the park via the Covered Bridge Trail. For more information see the McAninch Trail Head Camping page. Rates for this location are discounted significantly over CCHP and completely free for members of FAHA. Rates are subject to change and only apply to this location. CCHP campting rates are posted on the Camping at CCHP page and at the park.
